Ladies and gentlemen the time has come ...

Ladies and gentlemen the time has come to chop off all of those summer beach waves and rock that winter lob/bob 💇💇 This is for a great cause and if you're not ready to make such a bold move then please tag someone who might be. The first time I did this I was 12 and donated 13 inches of hair. I cried because what woman doesn't cry when she cuts off that much hair-- but also because I knew that it would be donated to a friend of mine that had been diagnosed with leukemia. The wig was made specifically for her and when she put it on She looked stunning. What I did was minor compared to all the hard work her body was getting ready to do. The last time I donated I was heartbroken and 27. This time it was donated to a stranger. Just knowing that someone out there would be able to twist the ends of her hair when she was nervous or run her fingers through it when she was feeling confident or that someone she loved might be tucking a lose strand behind her ear in a simple demonstration of love-- it made me so happy.
